Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists Fred will get his chance to prove himself

The Brazil international has barely featured for the Red Devils since Ole took charge in December but he stands the opportunity to start during the midweek league fixture at Crystal Palace.

Speaking to reporters, Ole stated that Fred will get the opportunity to impress with the team and he must take the chance with both hands, he said: “It is not like we have been bogged down with too many games. He knows what it means. You have to look at the time it needs to settle. You look at Juan [Sebastian Veron] – he is one of the best players that I played with – and it took him time to settle. And I am sure that when given the chance and a run in the team Fred will grab the opportunity. Fred will get his chances.”
